Graphic tee designed in partnership with Splitlog Coffee Co. to celebrate the shop's tight-knit community in Strawberry Hill in Kansas City. The original design is a digital illustration spinoff of vintage race tee graphics imagining a fictional Strawberry Hill racer. The design was illustrated in Procreate and was inspired by the 2018 Stussy race car.
The shop's manager wanted to partner with me to create a shirt for the promotion of shop that went beyond their standard visual aesthetic to have a broader audience. He and I both shared the sentiment that most coffee shop merch was boring and limited to just the shop logo on a low quality blank. This project was a collaboration to help create an attention-grabbing, meaningful product for the community that also generates interest and foot traffic towards the shop as it was sold exclusively in-store.
