Pitch

Pitch is a downtown coffee lab showcasing specialty coffees from around the world that they feature for a limited time on their slow bar.

The vibe I had in mind for this company is very chic, modern, and minimal. So I reflected this in the Kalita shaped logo mark with the pyramid and the star in the interior of the shape. I imagine them playing music like Novo Amor’s Antarctic Dream Machine, Selected Ambient Works 85-92 by Aphex Twin, or Saba’s album Few Good Things. Really anything hip hop or neo ambient.

For people who take coffee seriously and enjoy coffee drinking for the experience, the slow bar at pitch is the main appeal.

And for people who prefer lattes or flavored coffee drinks, they have a dynamic seasonal menu with drinks like their strawberry rose matcha latte, or their herbal elderflower infused latte.

Pitch is also a city center for coffee education and employs a full-time coffee educator who works to sharpen the craft of the shops own baristas and other baristas around the city through cupping and brewing workshops they can enroll in.
