Arkive Filmworks

Arkive Filmworks is a new, Oklahoma-based company doing videography work for clients in the Midwest.

The owner, Noah Willis, came to me with the concept and partnered with me to create a logo and branding concept designed primarily for web and social media use. After talking more in-depth over a couple meetings on the company vision, ethos, and mentality he wanted to create and represent visually, this final concept was created to simply communicate the nature of his business.
The name Arkive comes from his namesake, Noah, the biblical figure from the recording of Noah's Ark and the flood. Combining the "ark" with the idea of a video or film archive, the name and colors showcase a sentiment of exploration and creating. Looking to what has been accomplished in the past to help inform forward momentum into the future.

In addition to the logo assets, I also created for Arkive a t-shirt graphic of his camera in an exploded schematic design with the image of a boat on the water in both the lens and the rear display.
